100 Research Websites*

Professor Jonathan Hughes, St. John’s University, Oakdale Campus

This PARTIAL list is consists of a variety of websites[1] I have visited in doing my own research. Each site has been tested, but there are no guarantees given the turmoil on the web. Help me add to this list with sites you have found (or will find) which may be helpful to any researcher.

*Another set of sites, not yet included on this list, but important none the less, can be found at my website, www.jonathanthughes.com.

[1] Many of the websites in this list were listed in a wonderful, but somewhat dated, book by Dave Edyburn entitled The Electronic Scholar, (Merrill/Prentice Hall, 1999) ISBN 0-13-080601. Some sites are no longer valid; others are of little use. His idea, however, was very good and very helpful in developing this list of websites.
